This Privacy Policy explains how Preempt Technologies, Inc. ("OneStop," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the OneStop mobile application, onestop.so, and related services and support (the "Services"). It also explains your privacy choices and how to contact us. OneStop is an app for adults aged 18 and over to discover nearby plans, create posts, respond, and chat.
This Policy covers information we handle through the Services. It does not govern the independent practices of other users or third-party sites you choose to visit. The Services are offered for use in the United States.
Your published profile and posts are visible to the audience described in the app. Tapping Interested or the heart sends that action and related profile information to the post owner; it is not a private save. Replies are delivered to the post owner, and chat messages are visible to their participants.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The current Services do not include advertising.
The information we collect depends on the features you use and what you choose to provide. It includes:
With the device permission you grant, we may collect precise or approximate device location. We also receive a neighborhood, meeting point, or other location you enter, and may infer a general location from your IP address. Section 6 explains how we use location and the controls available to you.
When you use the Services, we collect technical and usage information, which may include:
We receive information from other users when they interact with your profile or posts, send messages, or report a concern. Providers supporting the Services may supply authentication, delivery, diagnostic, support, or security information. If you use a third-party sign-in option, we receive the account information that provider shares through the sign-in process and the permissions you grant. Adding a social link to your profile does not by itself give us access to that social account.
We use personal information to:
Where law requires consent for a particular collection or use, we request it separately. This Policy is a notice about our practices, not a substitute for that consent. We will explain a materially different use and obtain any required consent before beginning it.
Other users may see your published name, age, profile photos, bio, neighborhood, optional social links, and posts, depending on the feature and the audience or settings shown in the app. Published posts can include photos, text, category, meeting location, and timing. Avoid putting information into a public field that you intend to keep private.
The post owner receives your Interested action or reply together with related profile information. These actions identify you to the recipient. A post owner decides which responses to pursue and whether to start a chat.
Participants can see messages and related profile and post information. Authorized personnel and providers may access messages when reasonably needed for delivery, support, safety investigations, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. Other participants may independently save or share what you send.
We do not display your account email address, phone number, exact device coordinates, or settings marked private as public profile fields. Information you choose to put in a post, profile, or message can still reveal those details. A neighborhood, approximate distance, meeting point, or photo can reveal where you are or plan to be.
We disclose information to other users as described in Section 4 and to other recipients when you direct us to do so or give consent after we explain the disclosure.
We disclose information to providers helping us with hosting, storage, authentication, location and geocoding, communications, notifications, analytics, diagnostics, support, moderation, security, and fraud prevention. Depending on their role, they receive the account, content, location, device, activity, or support information needed to perform their services. We require providers acting on our behalf to protect the information and limit their use to providing services to us or as required by law, with protection consistent with this Policy.
We may disclose relevant information to courts, regulators, law enforcement, professional advisers, or others when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, respond to an emergency, address abuse or fraud, protect rights or safety, enforce agreements, or establish or defend a claim.
Information may be disclosed under appropriate confidentiality protections to parties and advisers involved in a proposed financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of the relevant business or assets. If a transaction completes, information may transfer to the successor, subject to applicable law and the protections described in this Policy.
We use location to show nearby posts, estimate distance, identify neighborhoods, and support location-related security checks. Device location access follows the permission you grant and the feature you use. iOS lets you turn location access off and, where available, choose approximate rather than precise location.
Revoking device permission stops new collection through that permission. It does not remove a location you typed into a post, information already collected, or the general location we may infer from your IP address. You can edit information using available app controls or contact us about deletion. Some nearby features may be limited without location access.
Precise geolocation, account credentials, private communications, and some information you choose to share may be sensitive under applicable law. Posts or preferences may also reveal sensitive facts about you. We use sensitive information to provide the features you request, secure the Services, and comply with law, and obtain consent or provide additional controls where required. Avoid including unnecessary health, financial, identification, or similarly sensitive details in a post or message.
Depending on what you do, OneStop may ask for location, camera, photo, or notification permissions. Camera and photo access supports selecting, capturing, and uploading content. Permission prompts and the photo picker let you control access, and you can change available permissions in iOS Settings.
Notifications may relate to interest, replies, chats, account activity, and safety or service notices. You can change notification permissions on your device and use any notification controls available in the app. Essential account or legal notices may still be sent through other appropriate channels. Device settings may also let you hide notification previews on your lock screen.
Our websites may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, security, and measuring how the Services work. The app may use software tools and device identifiers for the operational, analytic, and diagnostic purposes described above. Providers receive relevant device, activity, and diagnostic information for those purposes.
You can manage website cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies can affect sign-in or other functionality. Device-wide analytics settings do not necessarily disable analytics collected directly by OneStop. Contact support@onestop.so to ask about information associated with your use or to exercise applicable privacy rights.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process it for targeted advertising. We do not authorize providers to track your activity across unrelated businesses' apps or websites for those purposes. Our practices do not change in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. Where legally required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control; because we do not sell or share information for targeted advertising, there is no such activity to stop.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking into account the type and sensitivity of the information, the feature involved, account activity, security needs, legal obligations, and any active dispute.
Account and profile information is generally retained while the account remains active. Posts, images, replies, and messages are retained to provide the relevant features until removed or deleted under the applicable process. Closing or expiring a post changes its availability; it does not by itself erase associated replies, messages, or activity history.
Location, device, usage, and diagnostic records are retained for the relevant operational, security, and troubleshooting purposes. Reports, enforcement records, and limited identifiers needed to address repeat abuse may be retained longer where lawful and necessary. We assess retention based on the seriousness of an incident, applicable limitation periods, and legal preservation requirements.
You can initiate account deletion in the app. Once completed, we delete the account and associated personal information and User Content from active systems, except records we are legally required or permitted to retain for specific legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. Retained records are limited to those purposes and are not kept in ordinary discovery or messaging use. We also instruct providers acting on our behalf to delete the relevant information, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
Copies in backups may remain until the applicable backup cycle replaces them; they are not used for ordinary product operations. We cannot erase screenshots or copies that other people independently saved outside the Services. We may retain properly de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies you; we do not attempt to reidentify it except as law permits.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your login credentials and contact support@onestop.so promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We will provide notice of a security incident when required by applicable law.
You can review or update information through the account, profile, post, and preference controls available in the app. You can close a post, block or report an account, control device permissions, and initiate account deletion in the app. Uninstalling the app does not delete the account. For help or a request not covered by an app control, email support@onestop.so.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of personal information, withdraw consent, restrict or object to certain processing, or appeal a decision on a privacy request. Withdrawing consent does not undo prior lawful processing and may affect a feature that needs the information.
To protect your information, we may confirm a request using information already associated with your account or ask for information reasonably necessary to authenticate the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted; we may ask for evidence of authority and, where lawful, confirmation from you.
We respond within the time required by applicable law and provide any required explanation of an extension or denial. Where applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing support@onestop.so with the subject "Privacy appeal" and the reasons for your appeal. We will provide the outcome and any further complaint options required by law. We do not unlawfully discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
Where a state privacy law applies to OneStop and your information, the categories described in Section 2 include identifiers and contact information, age and other profile characteristics, photos and other user content, internet or app activity, geolocation, and preferences inferred from your activity. Sensitive information may include precise geolocation, account credentials, communications, and sensitive information you choose to provide.
We collect this information from you, your device and activity, other users, and the providers described in Section 2. Sections 3 through 6 explain our purposes and recipients by role. Section 9 explains the criteria used to determine retention. To request information about collection or disclosure associated with your account during an applicable reporting period, use the process in Section 11.
Applicable state rights may include knowing whether and how we process your information; obtaining access, a copy, or information about recipients; correcting or deleting it; limiting certain uses of sensitive information; opting out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; and appealing a denial. Rights and exceptions vary by state and by whether the relevant law applies to us. Use the process in Section 11 to make a request.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, including information about people under 16, whom we do not permit to use OneStop. We do not use discovery ranking to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, such as eligibility for employment, credit, housing, insurance, or healthcare.
California residents may also request information about certain disclosures for third parties' direct marketing under California Civil Code Section 1798.83. We do not disclose personal information for those third parties' own direct marketing. You may contact support@onestop.so about these rights. Where applicable, you may complain to your state attorney general or privacy regulator.
OneStop is based in the United States and the Services are intended for use there. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Privacy laws may differ between countries. We apply the protections in this Policy and any safeguards required by applicable law.
OneStop is for people aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If we learn that an underage person has an account, we will close it and delete their personal information, except limited records retained where lawful and necessary for safety or legal compliance. Contact support@onestop.so if you believe someone under 18 is using the Services.
We will post updates at onestop.so/privacy-policy and change the Last updated date. We will give additional notice of material changes through the app, email, or another appropriate channel, and obtain consent before a new use where required. A policy update does not remove rights you have under applicable law.
Preempt Technologies, Inc. operates OneStop and is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. For privacy questions, requests, complaints, or general support, email support@onestop.so or use the support tools in the app.
