These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Preempt Technologies, Inc. ("OneStop," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of the OneStop mobile application, onestop.so, and related services and support (together, the "Services"). OneStop helps adults discover and create nearby plans, respond to posts, and connect through chat.
By creating an account, accepting these Terms, or using the Services after being given an opportunity to review them, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information; these Terms do not replace any separate consent required by law.
We may update these Terms. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes through the app, email, or another appropriate method, unless a shorter period is needed for legal or urgent safety reasons. The notice will identify when the changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; we will obtain additional agreement when required. Changes will not apply retroactively to an existing dispute.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You may not use OneStop if applicable law prohibits it or if we previously removed you for serious or repeated violations, unless we give you permission to return.
Provide accurate account and profile information, including your age, and keep it current. Protect your login credentials and do not let another person use your account. Tell us promptly at support@onestop.so if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for keeping your account reasonably secure.
OneStop does not provide photo or identity verification or conduct criminal background checks. A profile, photo, stated age, or ability to use the app is not proof of identity, age, trustworthiness, or safety. We may restrict an account while investigating suspected underage use, impersonation, or unauthorized access.
You can create a profile, publish a nearby invitation, request, or offer, browse posts, express interest, send a reply, and choose whether to start a chat. Posts may describe social activities or everyday help between neighbors. Features and availability may change, and we may change or discontinue parts of the Services, subject to applicable law.
The current Services are free and do not include subscriptions or in-app purchases. OneStop does not process payments, bookings, or payouts between users. Any separate arrangement between users is their responsibility. We do not organize, host, supervise, or guarantee user plans, meetings, or services.
Information you publish may be shown to nearby users and to the audience indicated in the app. This can include your name, age, photos, bio, neighborhood, optional social links, and posts. Posts can include images, a title, description, category, location, and timing. Only rely on audience or privacy controls actually shown for the feature you use.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your posts and for updating or closing a plan that is no longer available. Closing or expiring a post is not the same as requesting deletion of its data. Other people may copy or share information they can see.
Do not publish private access codes, sensitive identification documents, or another person's private information without permission and a lawful basis. Avoid publishing your home address; consider a public meeting point.
Tapping the heart or Interested sends your interest and related profile information to the post owner. It is not a private save. A reply sends your message and related profile information to the post owner. Expressing interest or replying does not confirm attendance, reserve a place, or create a booking.
Post owners choose which responses to pursue and whether to start a chat. No one is required to respond, accept an invitation, attend, or continue a conversation. Respect a decision not to engage and do not evade a block.
Chat messages are intended for the participants, but participants may copy or share them. OneStop and authorized service providers may access or review communications as reasonably necessary to deliver the Services, handle support or safety reports, prevent abuse, or comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
With the device permission you grant, we may use precise or approximate location to show nearby posts, estimate distance, and identify a neighborhood. We may also use the location you enter and general location inferred from your IP address. Device settings control permission-based location access; some nearby features may be limited if you decline it.
Location, distance, timing, rankings, and availability can be approximate, delayed, or inaccurate. They do not confirm where a person currently is, whether a plan will happen, or whether an interaction is safe. A place you add to a post or message may be visible to its recipients.
"User Content" includes the profiles, photos, posts, replies, messages, reports, and other material you submit. You retain ownership of your User Content. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it, including permission to use another person's likeness when required.
You grant OneStop a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, resize or format, transmit, and display your User Content only as reasonably needed to provide, maintain, secure, and moderate the Services, consistent with your settings and our Privacy Policy. We may permit service providers to exercise these rights on our behalf for those purposes. This license does not authorize us to publicly display private messages or use your content in advertising or promotion without separate permission.
The license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for the limited use of records lawfully retained for the purposes and periods described in the Privacy Policy. Copies independently saved or shared by other users are not under our control. Deletion does not authorize us to continue using your content for unrelated purposes.
You must not submit content that violates another person's copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights. You grant other users only the ability to view and interact with content through the features you use, not a general license to republish or commercially exploit it.
Decide for yourself whether and how to meet or help someone. Consider meeting in public, telling a trusted person where you are going, arranging your own transportation, and protecting your financial and personal information. Leave an interaction if you feel uncomfortable. A recommendation or displayed post is not an endorsement of a person, activity, or offer.
OneStop is not an emergency service and does not supervise offline interactions. If there is an immediate danger or emergency, contact local emergency services. A report to OneStop does not replace an emergency call or a report to law enforcement.
You may not use OneStop to:
Use the reporting and blocking tools in the app, or contact support@onestop.so, to report content, an account, or a safety concern. Include enough information to identify the relevant account, post, or conversation. You may contact us without having an account.
We review reports and may remove content, restrict visibility or features, warn users, suspend or close accounts, preserve relevant records, or make legally required reports. We may act without prior notice when necessary for safety, security, or legal compliance. We do not promise to detect every violation or monitor every interaction.
If you believe we made a mistake, contact support@onestop.so with the account or content details and the reason you are asking us to reconsider. We may reconsider a decision and will provide any review rights required by law. A request does not automatically restore access or content.
If an intimate image or video of you was shared without your consent, including a fabricated depiction, you or your authorized representative can request removal by emailing support@onestop.so. An account is not required. A valid request should include:
For a valid request covered by the TAKE IT DOWN Act, we will remove the reported depiction as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving the request, and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies within that period. You do not need to locate every copy. Do not send additional copies of intimate material when identifying details will allow us to locate it.
Links to third-party websites, user social profiles, venues, and independent services are provided for convenience. Their services and privacy practices are governed by their own terms. Our use of a provider does not remove our obligations for information we disclose under our Privacy Policy.
For the iOS app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your app license. These Terms supplement that license for your use of OneStop's Services and community features; they do not replace it. If there is a conflict concerning the app license, the Standard EULA controls, subject to mandatory law.
Preempt Technologies, Inc., not Apple, operates OneStop and is responsible for the Services and support under these Terms. App Store usage rules and other applicable Apple terms also apply.
OneStop's software, design, branding, and non-user content belong to OneStop or its licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these Terms and the applicable app license, you may access and use the Services for their intended purposes.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit our software, branding, or other protected material without permission, except where applicable law or an applicable open-source license allows it. You acquire no ownership rights in the Services.
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect, how we use and disclose it, what other users can see, and how to exercise your choices and rights. A content license under these Terms does not override that Policy or your statutory privacy rights.
You can stop using OneStop at any time and initiate account deletion through the app. For help or additional privacy requests, contact support@onestop.so. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Closing a post does not delete the account or all associated information.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation of these Terms, fraud, suspected underage use, a safety or security risk, or a legal requirement. Account deletion and any limited retention of information are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. We cannot erase copies independently retained outside the Services by other people.
Provisions that by their nature must survive termination continue to apply, including intellectual property rights, limited rights needed for lawfully retained records, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." OneStop disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee a person's identity, intentions, conduct, compatibility, or attendance; the accuracy, safety, or availability of a post or plan; uninterrupted or error-free service; or any particular number of views, responses, chats, or meetings. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneStop and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, even if advised of the possibility of those damages.
Subject to the exceptions below, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid OneStop for the Services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. The separate app-license provisions referenced in Section 11 remain applicable to that license.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit, including nonwaivable liability for personal injury. They do not limit statutory remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify OneStop and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents against third-party claims and reasonable costs, including legal fees, to the extent caused by your unlawful User Content, your material breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights. This obligation does not cover loss caused by our negligence, unlawful conduct, or breach of these Terms.
We will give you reasonable notice of a claim and an opportunity to participate in its defense. We may control the defense, but we will not agree to a settlement requiring you to admit fault, pay money, or take action without your consent, which you must not unreasonably withhold.
New York law governs these Terms and disputes about the Services, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence continue to apply. The separate app-license terms referenced in Section 11 govern issues covered by that license.
If a dispute arises, please contact support@onestop.so and explain the issue and the resolution you seek so we can consider an informal resolution. This request does not prevent either party from filing a timely claim, seeking urgent relief, or contacting a regulator.
These Terms and any additional terms expressly accepted for a feature form the agreement governing your use of the Services, subject to the separate app license in Section 11. The Privacy Policy describes our data practices. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver.
You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent. We may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the relevant business or assets, provided the successor assumes our obligations. These Terms do not create an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between you and OneStop.
OneStop is operated by Preempt Technologies, Inc. For support, legal questions, safety reports, or copyright complaints, email support@onestop.so or use the support tools in the app.
If you believe material on OneStop infringes your copyright, identify the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it. Include your contact information, physical or electronic signature, a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or law, and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
We may remove or restrict disputed content and will terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If your content was removed in error, contact us with identifying details and the basis for your objection. We may share notices and responses with the other party as reasonably needed to address the complaint and as permitted by law.
